Profile / Experience

Angharad qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Lanyon Bowdler in March 2023 as an associate solicitor. Angharad works in the Private Client Team at our Oswestry office.

Angharad studied law at Lancaster University, and then went on to do a Masters in Law at University College London, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. Angharad worked in London and Cambridgeshire, before relocating back to Wales in 2015 and working in Chester and Wrexham.

Broadly, her work includes:

  • The preparation of wills – this ranges from straightforward wills to dealing with more complex issues, such as the inclusion of trusts for asset protection or to protect children, as well as advising on inheritance tax planning.
  • Preparation and registration of lasting powers of attorney.
  • Administration of all estates including complex estates involving trusts and/or inheritance tax issues.

Outside of work, Angharad enjoys spending time with her family, and enjoys keeping fit by going swimming.
