Agricultural Wages in Wales 2025.

The Agricultural Wages (Wales) Order 2025 (“the Order”) will come into force on 1 April 2025 and increase the minimum wage rates and allowances for agricultural, horticultural and agri-forestry employees in Wales.

The new rates of pay and other allowances that are payable from 1 April are set out below.

D – Senior Agricultural Worker£14.79
E – Agricultural Manager£16.23
Apprentice Year 1£7.55
Apprentice Year 2 (aged 16-17)£7.55
Apprentice Year 2 (aged 18-20)£10.00
Apprentice Year 2 (aged 21+)£12.21

Other Allowances
Dog Allowance£11.18per dog per week
Night Time Work Allowance£2.12per hour of night work
Birth Adoption Allowance£87.85for each child
Accommodation Offset Allowance (House)£1.97per week
Accommodation Offset Allowance (Other Accommodation)£6.31per day
