Lanyon Bowdler – Pricing & Service Information.
The Best Team for You
The appointment of a legal advisor can be daunting for consumers and in a crowded market, it can be hard to know how to select the best lawyer to help you. We know from experience that clients who consider price alone rarely receive the best quality advice or service. Price is but one consideration in the appointment of a lawyer and the legal profession has a plethora of options across the full spectrum of both price and, more importantly, quality.
At Lanyon Bowdler, we pride ourselves on giving clients access to the very best people with the relevant qualifications, experience and expertise to assist you with your legal matters. They are also nice people to work with and will deliver their advice to you in plain English. Our network of offices means they are close at hand should you wish to see them face to face. We want to do high quality work that we can be proud of for clients who understand and value what we are trying to achieve for them. We aim to deliver the right outcome for our clients in the desired timescales with the minimum of fuss.
A Tailored Service
Our services are based on providing clients with real value for money. We know that no two legal matters are the same. We treat every client as an individual, taking the time to assess their particular needs and the requirements of the legal matter in hand. However, we know it can be helpful for consumers to have an idea of the cost of purchasing legal services for significant events, good or bad, which may affect them or their families so we provide an indication of costs for particular types of work on the pages below.
The figures given are based on typical transactions, and will vary in cases with special complications. The prices shown are merely an indication of the likely cost of the service and we will always give you an individual cost estimate at the start of the legal matter, taking into account the actual features of your case and following a discussion with you about your specific needs and requirements.
When providing a detailed cost estimate to clients, we will always endeavour to ensure our costs are fair and reasonable having regard to all the circumstances of the case and taking into account the following:
- The complexity of the matter or the difficulty or novelty of the questions raised
- The skill, labour, specialised knowledge and responsibility involved
- The time spent on the matter
- The number and importance of the documents prepared or considered, without regard to length
- The place where and the circumstances in which the matter is transacted
- The amount or value of any money or property involved
- The importance of the matter to the client
- The circumstances (including urgency) in which the work was done
