Morgan is a legal assistant within the serious injuries multi-track team of the Personal Injury Department.
They joined Lanyon Bowdler in February 2022, working as a legal support assistant to solicitors in the Shrewsbury office specialising in military cases, accident abroad cases, and fast track claims. In 2023, they migrated to the Telford office to work as a legal assistant in the serious injuries team under Debbie Humphries, partner and head of the Telford Team. Morgan works in a supportive role on high value claims for claimants who have suffered complex and serious injuries such as brain injury, spinal injury, and amputation.
They also support Karen Clarke, associate legal executive, with intermediate track and fast track claims arising from accidents at work and road traffic accidents. Morgan specialises in the creation of litigation documents, such as witness statements and particulars of claim, and the collating of evidence. They are a highly organised individual with an empathetic and client-centred approach.
Morgan is also one of the firm’s ‘super users’ for the installation of a recent case management system, and enjoyed providing support and knowledge to their colleagues in this role.
Morgan has a masters in applied linguistics, specialising in critical discourse analysis, which explores the role of language in ideology and social practices. Morgan enjoys travel and lived in Canada prior to joining the firm. Morgan has a keen interest in film, television, and theatre, and spends much of their free time creative writing, baking, or hosting and partaking in D&D campaigns.
