Profile / Experience

Morgan is a legal assistant within the serious injuries multi-track team of the Personal Injury Department.

They joined Lanyon Bowdler in February 2022, working as a legal support assistant to solicitors in the Shrewsbury office specialising in military cases, accident abroad cases, and fast track claims. In 2023, they migrated to the Telford office to work as a legal assistant in the serious injuries team under Debbie Humphries, partner and head of the Telford Team. Morgan works in a supportive role on high value claims for claimants who have suffered complex and serious injuries such as brain injury, spinal injury, and amputation.

They also support Karen Clarke, associate legal executive, with intermediate track and fast track claims arising from accidents at work and road traffic accidents. Morgan specialises in the creation of litigation documents, such as witness statements and particulars of claim, and the collating of evidence. They are a highly organised individual with an empathetic and client-centred approach.

Morgan is also one of the firm’s ‘super users’ for the installation of a recent case management system, and enjoyed providing support and knowledge to their colleagues in this role.

Morgan has a masters in applied linguistics, specialising in critical discourse analysis, which explores the role of language in ideology and social practices. Morgan enjoys travel and lived in Canada prior to joining the firm. Morgan has a keen interest in film, television, and theatre, and spends much of their free time creative writing, baking, or hosting and partaking in D&D campaigns.

Testimonials

What our clients say.

The first person I had the pleasure to talk with at LB was Morgan. Morgan was sympathetic, understanding and showed compassion about the awful situation I found myself in. Morgan quickly provided agreement that LB would take on my case and arranged for an initial meeting to discuss events to date. Morgan came to the first meeting and although only scheduled for an hour, stayed for much longer really invested and understanding the importance of my journey to be shared. This was indicative of the willingness to help, get the right outcome and professional support throughout. I have now finally concluded settlement after three years and have closure. Without Morgan, I really don’t know what I’d have done. An exceptional professional with a personal and warm approach to their customers. Thank you.
