Associate Solicitor.
Profile / Experience
Jennifer has extensive experience advising landlords and tenants in relation to commercial leases (including industrial and agricultural properties, shopping centres and hotels).
She also has extensive experience in advising purchasers, sellers and developers in relation to all aspects of sales and purchases, including those affecting agricultural land. Jennifer’s employment experience means that she is particularly well placed to advise clients where there is an employment element to a property-based transaction, such as when TUPE is engaged.
Jennifer also advises on the property aspects in various commercial transactions including share and asset sales and purchases, re-organisations and shareholder and partnership agreements.
Jennifer’s employment experience enables her to advise in relation to the provision of accommodation for employees in connection with their employment, whether under licences or tenancy agreements, including agricultural tenancies or, where applicable, avoiding the creation of agricultural tenancies.
She joined Lanyon Bowdler in 2013 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2015 into a unique role in both the Employment and Commercial & Agricultural Property Departments. Jennifer continued in this role until November 2019 when she moved to the Commercial & Agricultural Property Department.
