Profile / Experience

Georgina qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and joined Lanyon Bowdler in January 2022 as an associate solicitor, she joined the partnership in December 2024.

Georgina works in the Private Client Team based in our Hereford office.

Georgina studied English Literature at Lancaster University and then went on to attend the College of Law, Chester to study the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course where she obtained a Distinction.

Georgina is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), following completion of the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates.

Her work broadly includes:

  • The preparation of wills. This ranges from relatively straightforward wills to more complex areas, including trusts and inheritance tax planning.
  • The preparation and advice relating to lasting powers of attorney for financial property and affairs and health and welfare.
  • All aspects of the administration of estates, including the administration of estates on intestacy, complex estates where inheritance tax is payable and where assets have been left in trust.

When not at work, Georgina enjoys spending time with her family, walking her three dogs and beekeeping.
