David specialises in agricultural tenancies, sales and purchases of rural property (including landed estates, country houses and equestrian properties), secured lending in a rural context, and general estate management issues.
David advises landowners on strategic land issues and can advise in relation to promotion agreements, options and other development matters.
David’s clients have included a range of banks, charities and religious institutions as well as developers and public bodies.
He can assist you with first registrations, Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 tenancies, easements and wayleaves, and Settled Land Act 1925 issues.
A native of Somerset, David spent the first years of his career in Bristol and the South West before relocating to his wife’s hometown of Shrewsbury.
David joined Lanyon Bowdler in December 2024 and is based in the Shrewsbury office.
