Claire is one of the few solicitors in the Shropshire/West Midlands area to specialise in contentious probate. She is a member of The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (“ACTAPS”).
Claire is an associate solicitor and is based at the firm’s Shrewsbury office. She has experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters but has specialised in contentious probate work for a number of years.
She works closely with the Lanyon Bowdler Private Client Team. She acts for individuals in a variety of different matters, including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, probate claims, substitution and removal of personal representatives, rectification of wills and professional negligence. Claire also has experience of post-death cases involving, disputes involving farms, financial abuse by attorneys and the recovery of monies to the estate.
