NFU Legal Panel Appointment
Lanyon Bowdler’s managing partner David Battisby and fellow partner Brian Evans attended the NFU’s Headquarters in Stoneleigh on 12 May for the launch of the new NFU Legal Panel and a celebration of the NFU’s Centenary Year.
Having been appointed as one of the 16 carefully selected law firms with a proven track record in agricultural matters, David Battisby said “this is very exciting for Lanyon Bowdler and we are delighted to be able to offer our legal expertise to NFU members in Staffordshire, Shropshire and Herefordshire.”
The Panel has been extended to 16 legal firms across the NFU’s eight regions, ensuring two firms per region, thus providing an enhanced and more local service to members.
NFU vice president Paul Temple introduced members of the new panel during the launch and commented that the firms selected had demonstrated “… their strength and depth in agricultural matters, together with other specialist areas that affect our members.”
